Science: Kids will have the opportunity to plant a variety of seeds and examine bean, sunflower and pumpkin seedlings from top to bottom.
Books, Puzzles & Toys: Children can read from a number of gardening books, play with stuffed animals or do puzzles. Knowledge gained from books will help them at the science station.
"The Very Angry Ladybug" by Eric Carie will be read by a Master Gardener volunteer.
Learning Objectives: The children will learn the importance of plants and insects through hands-on experiences.
Be sure the kids also check out the demonstration on making a plantasaurus.
Art: There will be playdough, crayons, markers, plenty of drawing paper and children can decorate their own garden visor!
